Bravo à Nina pour cette médaille d’or bien méritée !
@mtmaman Please go easy on us poor New Englanders and the regional #randorace scene!
Sorry to hear about your “retirement” although welcome back to New England!
I also see that Dublin NH is within an easy drive of all of our NE Rando Race Series, so looking forward to seeing you there … along perhaps with some of your “nordic” ski team athletes?
Thanks! Looking forward to getting back!
Great post and pics, those pancakes look delish.

Nina, thanks for the memories. My wife I and used to live near the Pumpelly TH and spent many hours on the mountain, running up and down and around it. We even got married on the summit in 2001 and had a little ceremony afterward in our little barn rental apartment in Dublin Cntr. 🙂 We live in NM right now, but are planning our move back this year, we hope, and will be spending many weekends on Monadock again.
Hi Steve! That is so cool that you were married on the summit. Please look us up when you are back in town. NM is a great place. My husband lived in Santa Fe for many years.
Not sure where we’ll be living yet….certainly hoping for the Monadnock region, all depends on work and commuting.
Will certainly connect when we get back!
Nina:
You never cease to amaze me! Thank you for the great article. I am so intrigued with this event and how gruelling it must have been. Thank you for sharing. You go, girl!
