Bio
Nina has been in the field of education, sports and mountains since graduating from University. She is proud to help promote women in mountain sports. She hopes that through her efforts in ski mountaineering she will help encourage other women and mothers to get out and enjoy the mountains and in doing so help raise awareness for good health through philanthropy. She lives in Chamonix, France with her husband and UIAGM mountain guide, Michael Silitch of www.high-alpine.com and their two sons, Birken and Anders, 4 and 2 years old.

● On snow and skis for 30 years. Grew up in Vermont/ Maine
● Alpine raced at Carrabasset Valley Academy
● Telemark skier -15 years Colorado, Utah, CA, Maine
● 10 years of mountaineering in the Alps
